Egypt Weather

Egypt weather varies depending on the region and the time of year. Generally, Egypt has a hot and dry desert climate, with very little rainfall throughout the year.

In the summer months (June to August), temperatures can be extremely hot, especially in Upper Egypt and the desert areas, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F). The winter months (December to February) are usually mild, with cooler temperatures and occasional rain.

In the coastal areas of Egypt, such as Alexandria, Marsa Alam, and Sharm El-Sheikh, the weather is generally more moderate due to the cooling effects of the Mediterranean Sea or the Red Sea.

If you’re planning to visit Egypt, it’s a good idea to check the weather forecast for the specific region you’ll be traveling to and plan accordingly. It’s also important to bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water to stay hydrated in the hot and dry climate.
